"A Realtor is not a Salesperson. They're a matchmaker. They introduce people to homes, until they fall in Love with one – Then they're a wedding planner."

Section 2 (zm) of RERA grants a definition to real estate agents. According to the definition, a "real estate agent" means any person, who negotiates or represents other person for transfer of a real estate property by way of sale to another person and receives remuneration or fees or any other charges for his services whether as commission or otherwise. A real estate agent includes a person who introduces, through any medium, prospective buyers and sellers to each other for negotiation for sale or purchase of real estate property and includes property dealers, brokers, middlemen, etc.

RERA Easy realises that Real Estate Agents have over the period of time evolved in to Channel Partners and have started adding more value in marketing and sales.

They are increasingly acting as advisors -- sales professionals than brokers. They are taking more responsibility and are accountable, with agent registration with RERA and professional practise is improving fast.

Many Developers have started realizing that they are more than just channel partners but also direct business associates and it is important to incentivise them as they are the first pillars of sales making them a very vital link to achieve the targeted sales.

As per RERA, all real estate brokers have to compulsorily register themselves with the concerned state regulatory authorities. The agent registration period is valid for a period of 5 years. The answer is usually No! and many honest Agents have suffered huge losses because of absence of any contract. We ensure that you get your RERA registration certificate in no time and your services match with the growing expectancy in the Industry. A well-defined contract would not only help you in getting your dues but would also ensure that in event of any damages, your liabilities are defined and restricted.
